Good morning, everyone! How is everyone's week going? I hope you are finding as many blessing this week as I am. :) Today is Creative Card Tuesday at  My Cricut Craftroom  and I have some cute cards from the new Artiste cartridge to show you. Today's theme is Pop-Up Cards which is new for me. (Confession: I have never made a pop-up card!) I decided to challenge myself and try out one of the pop-up cards on the Artiste cartridge. What did I think?  One word-EASY! I really enjoyed putting these together. They took minutes! I cut out two cards from pg. 51 of the Artist manual, one at 4 inches and the other at 5 inches. These are the pop-up inserts as they cut out. Following the guide marks, I scored the inserts and folded them This is how they should look before you glue them into your cards. Good Tuesday morning, all. I hope your day is finding you happy and having a good week. Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Creating Card Tuesday. Today's theme is Thank You cards and I have an easy one for you. The dimensions for this card are as follows: Card 3 in x 4 in (cut a strip 6 in x 4 in and score at 3 inches) Purple Matte is 2 3/4 in x 3 3/4 in White matte is 2 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in This card is small but can be easily made larger. The flower is from the Elegant Cakes Cricut Cake cartridge is cut at 2 inches and is found on page 69 of the booklet. The inside is stamped simply "thanks" as sometimes it is all that needs to be said. Because of the simplicity of this card, it is easy to duplicate. In less than an hour I was able to make 6 cards. Gooooooood morning! How are y'all this fine, cold, snowy Monday? "How on earth can you have so much enthusiasm on a Monday?!?" you ask. Well, I am actually writing this Sunday night so I am pretty peppy. Honestly though, I do enjoy Mondays now that my eldest is in school. I love his enthusiasm and excitement in the morning. Believe me when I say it is better than coffee! (Especially since I don't drink coffee due to my religious beliefs.) Good Monday, my special viewers! How are all of you? I hope your holidays have been pleasant so far.  With only 15 more days left until Christmas, (OH...MY...GOSH!), I am crafting up a storm! For today's My Cricut Craft Room design team post, we have been asked to make something with a star. With so many options I had a hard time making up my mind as to what I would make. So, I went to my 'needs' list and realized I need tags. After flipping through the Art Philosophy cartridge booklet, I found the perfect item. This is what I came up with. First I cut 2 tags  on white paper. One I cut at 4 inches and the other at 3 inches. I then cut the shadows at 4 and 3 inches on a piece of gold paper. You can find the tag image on page 40 of the Art Philosophy booklet.
