Happy Monday!

Gooooooood morning! How are y'all this fine, cold, snowy Monday? "How on earth can you have so much enthusiasm on a Monday?!?" you ask. Well, I am actually writing this Sunday night so I am pretty peppy. Honestly though, I do enjoy Mondays now that my eldest is in school. I love his enthusiasm and excitement in the morning. Believe me when I say it is better than coffee! (Especially since I don't drink coffee due to my religious beliefs.) But I did drink coffee when I was younger and my son's energy is definitely a better 'wake me up'. ^.^ 'Nuff chattin'! Let's get to what you came for! (First, how bout a cute pic just to make you smile? My kids are the cutest in the world!) My 1yr old's 1st ice cream cone. He just turned 2 now. *sniffle* This was my first go at a gate fold card. It turned out WAY better than I ever imagined it. I think it has a fantasy feel to it. :) The paper both regular cardstock and part of a textured pack I

MCCR DT Post

Good Monday, my special viewers! How are all of you? I hope your holidays have been pleasant so far.  With only 15 more days left until Christmas, (OH...MY...GOSH!), I am crafting up a storm! For today's My Cricut Craft Room design team post, we have been asked to make something with a star. With so many options I had a hard time making up my mind as to what I would make. You can find the tag image on page 40 of the Art Philosophy booklet. Next I glued each tag to it's shadow, allowing the gold to come through and add color to the stars. :) I inked the edges, added a sentiment which I also wet embossed, added some fa

Card Creating Tuesday

Good frosty morning, my peeps! I hope you all are having a great Tuesday so far and I hope it only gets better! Today is another design team post for Erica's Cricut Craft Room. We are counting down to Christmas and today's theme is 'cookies on cards'. This card was simple to make and actually a lot of fun! (Aren't they all??) First, I started by cutting out cookies on a plate from the Sweet Shop cartridge. I cut the image at 1/2 an inch. (My card base is 3 3/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches.) I cut the cookies out twice and reversed the layers to add a little bit of variety to the plate.  I cut the second set of cookies apart to stack them on the plate. ^.^ Yum!! Next, I used Gypsy Wanderings, to cut a yummy mug of hot cocoa.  I cut the image 3 times but used my Gypsy to place each image when I wanted to place the different colored papers on my mat. To cut each aspect of the image seperately, I used my Gypsy to hide some of the out
