MCCR Creating Card Tuesday


Good Tuesday morning, all. I hope your day is finding you happy and having a good week. Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Creating Card Tuesday. Today's theme is Thank You cards and I have an easy one for you.


The dimensions for this card are as follows:

Card 3 in x 4 in (cut a strip 6 in x 4 in and score at 3 inches)
Purple Matte is 2 3/4 in x 3 3/4 in
White matte is 2 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in

This card is small but can be easily made larger.


The flower is from the Elegant Cakes Cricut Cake cartridge is cut at 2 inches and is found on page 69 of the booklet.



The inside is stamped simply "thanks" as sometimes it is all that needs to be said. Because of the simplicity of this card, it is easy to duplicate. In less than an hour I was able to make 6 cards. These mini cards are perfect to stash in your desk at work, your purse, or even your car for when you are in need of a quick 'thanks' for someone. :)

I'm Finally Back!!! Well...almost.

Oh my goodness!!!! It is SO good to be 'back'! The past 6 weeks have been Hell!!! Ironically, the day of my last post, I got a prescription for an antibiotic to cure an infection I had in my right pointer finger. I have eczema and it is very sensitive to weather. During our hottest and driest week, my eczema became painfully dry and cracked which let in normal bacteria that is found on our hands. Unfortunately, I also have asthma and severe seasonal allergies. (Seasonal allergies were the worst this summer too!) So on top of all the 'fighting' my poor body was doing, the infection was too much and it overran my system. To make a long, and extremely painful, story short the infection overtook both my hands rendering them useless for the past 6 weeks. I am on my 6th or 7th course of antibiotics. After being in and out of the ER on IV antibiotics for a week and a half, and the infection only getting worse, the doctor finally admitted me to the hospital for 4 days last week

Bookm-ARGH! Card

Good Monday morning, everyone! How is everybody today? I hope your weekend was fun. :) Mine was awesome. Got a LOT of cleaning done and then even more crafting done. Minus the fact that my chest infection keeps me from breathing....I had a good weekend. However, I am as clumsy as I could possibly be. I don't know what it has been this past week but I cannot seem to control my hands. They have been fumbling everything! Point in question? My first ever bookmark card. I thought I would try out another different style of card and I have always wanted to do a bookmark card. This one turned out BEAUTIFULLY...until I dropped my ink pad on it. >.> I was not impressed.
