Monday, Monday.

Well it's Monday. Other than the drama of my poor 2 year old princess getting a bloody nose from her 3 year old brother, today has been pretty good. We went for a walk in the beautiful weather. It was so warm and summery! I love summer!


So last night I was able to get two scrapbook pages finished, minus the photos. Here are some pictures of my pages. Hope y'all like! :)

I'm Finally Back!!! Well...almost.

Oh my goodness!!!! It is SO good to be 'back'! The past 6 weeks have been Hell!!! Ironically, the day of my last post, I got a prescription for an antibiotic to cure an infection I had in my right pointer finger. I have eczema and it is very sensitive to weather. During our hottest and driest week, my eczema became painfully dry and cracked which let in normal bacteria that is found on our hands. Unfortunately, I also have asthma and severe seasonal allergies. (Seasonal allergies were the worst this summer too!) So on top of all the 'fighting' my poor body was doing, the infection was too much and it overran my system. To make a long, and extremely painful, story short the infection overtook both my hands rendering them useless for the past 6 weeks. I am on my 6th or 7th course of antibiotics. After being in and out of the ER on IV antibiotics for a week and a half, and the infection only getting worse, the doctor finally admitted me to the hospital for 4 days last week

Bookm-ARGH! Card

Good Monday morning, everyone! How is everybody today? I hope your weekend was fun. :) Mine was awesome. Got a LOT of cleaning done and then even more crafting done. Minus the fact that my chest infection keeps me from breathing....I had a good weekend. However, I am as clumsy as I could possibly be. I don't know what it has been this past week but I cannot seem to control my hands. They have been fumbling everything! Point in question? My first ever bookmark card. I thought I would try out another different style of card and I have always wanted to do a bookmark card. This one turned out BEAUTIFULLY...until I dropped my ink pad on it. >.> I was not impressed. Hence 'Bookm-ARGH' card. :) *tee hee* I've really been getting into stamping lately. I am waiting for my first set of stamping inks from Close to my Heart to arrive, (along with the Artiste cartridge EEEEE!). The stamps I used for this card are from Close to my Heart.
