MPS Pinkalicious Blog Hop!

Hey, peoples! Yes, I know it has been an extremely LOOOONG time since I last posted anything. i had troubles with my internet for several weeks and the past week has been spent trying to enjoy what little summer weather we have left! SO! Here I am and don't worry-I have TONS of projects to post...when I have more than a minute. For now here is a project I actually just did tonight for Robyn's blog hop. It is my sister's birthday in a couple of weeks so I made a card-BUT! It is a new type of card for me. (Actually, I did two new types tonight. I will post pictures of both.) I tried the tri-fold style card for my sister and a slider card for her sweetheart's birthday. I LOVE trying out new ways of paper crafting! I think I did pretty darn well...considering it was my first try. Now I MUST get some sleep, y'all! I will talk atcha very soon! Take care!

I'm Finally Back!!! Well...almost.

Oh my goodness!!!! It is SO good to be 'back'! The past 6 weeks have been Hell!!! Ironically, the day of my last post, I got a prescription for an antibiotic to cure an infection I had in my right pointer finger. I have eczema and it is very sensitive to weather. During our hottest and driest week, my eczema became painfully dry and cracked which let in normal bacteria that is found on our hands. Unfortunately, I also have asthma and severe seasonal allergies. (Seasonal allergies were the worst this summer too!) So on top of all the 'fighting' my poor body was doing, the infection was too much and it overran my system. To make a long, and extremely painful, story short the infection overtook both my hands rendering them useless for the past 6 weeks. I am on my 6th or 7th course of antibiotics. After being in and out of the ER on IV antibiotics for a week and a half, and the infection only getting worse, the doctor finally admitted me to the hospital for 4 days last week

Bookm-ARGH! Card

Good Monday morning, everyone! How is everybody today? I hope your weekend was fun. :) Mine was awesome. Got a LOT of cleaning done and then even more crafting done. Minus the fact that my chest infection keeps me from breathing....I had a good weekend. However, I am as clumsy as I could possibly be. I don't know what it has been this past week but I cannot seem to control my hands. They have been fumbling everything! Point in question? My first ever bookmark card. I thought I would try out another different style of card and I have always wanted to do a bookmark card. This one turned out BEAUTIFULLY...until I dropped my ink pad on it. >.> I was not impressed. Hence 'Bookm-ARGH' card. :) *tee hee* I've really been getting into stamping lately.
